This full day Sunday training on August 26 from 9:15a.m.-5:30p.m. will complete one’s Reiki Level 2 training and include 3 additional attunements. One will now have knowledge of and the ability to use the ’emotional/mental’ symbol as well as the ‘distant’ symbol. One will learn how to do distant sessions in 4 different ways. The student will also receive a manual and class certificate at the completion of the class.
The first part of this training is on the evening of Wednesday August 22nd
. By signing up for this training, one is expected to attend both parts of the training.
This monthly group is for first timers with no experience to those with regular meditation practices; this is a wonderful opportunity to practice within a supportive community. Sessions may include: principles of mindfulness, sitting meditation, walking meditation, use of mantras, Metta Sutta, and group sharing. Dress comfortably and bring water.
Beginning on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, this group will be moving from the Northwest YMCA on N Shannon Rd to Jacobs YMCA, 1010 W Lind Street, from 11 a.m.-12:30p.m. This is 1/2 hr later than our former time.

***There will be no Mindfulness & Meditation group on June 11 nor July 09th due to the summer camps at the Y; the group will resume on August 13th.
Feel free to join us whether one is Reiki trained or not. Receive a Reiki session, learn additional approaches to decrease stress, and if Reiki trained, practice giving Reiki sessions to others.

This Veterans Day is a perfect time for our precious Vets to learn a new modality for stress reduction, relaxation and healing. Perhaps one has also wanted to do some healing work on others including those whom have also served in our Armed forces.
This can be the right time in your life to pursue those goals. This 1 day training can support you with more wellness, peace of mind, physical comfort, enhanced awareness and for many, transformation. In this class you will receive one attunement which will give you the ability to work on yourself and others. You will learn: sensitivity exercises, how to use the Reiki ideals, chakra balancing, hand positions for the head and stomach flow, how to do a mini Reiki session on others, byosen scanning, ethical considerations and more. Information will be shared within a Mindfulness focus. Reiki is a wonderful gift to give to yourself or someone you care about including your special pet at home. Many couples also enjoy taking this training together to enhance communication and intimacy.
I have been privileged to work with many Vets while I was a Clinical Social Worker in Radiation Oncology. Vets will receive a 20% discount for this class on Veterans Day . The class however
is also open to non Vets.
Now that the holiday stress and New Year have passed, this is your opportunity in 2019 to receive Reiki 2 training.This 1 1/2 day training is for the Reiki student who has been building a strong foundation with Reiki Level 1. In Level 2, you will be attuned to the three Usui symbols and learn how to use them for distant healing, multiple sessions, sending Reiki to a personal goal or affirmation, and enhancing your daily Clearing Prayer. With level 2 and the use of the Power symbol, you may experience that the energy seems more focused and to flow 10-15x stronger. You will be receiving 1 attunement during this Wednesday February 13th evening class and 3 attunements during the all day Sunday February 17th class. During 
this Wednesday session, one will also have the opportunity to address any questions related to one’s earlier Level 1 training. One is expected to take both parts of this Reiki Level 2 training; the fee is for both parts.
