Mindfulness & Meditation Group: Open to the Community @ Jacobs YMCA

This monthly group is for first timers with no experience to those with regular meditation practices; this is a wonderful opportunity to practice within a supportive community.  Sessions may include:  principles of mindfulness, sitting meditation, walking meditation, use of mantras, Metta Sutta, and group sharing.  Dress comfortably and bring water.

Beginning on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, this group will be moving from the Northwest YMCA on N Shannon Rd  to Jacobs YMCA, 1010 W Lind Street, from 11 a.m.-12:30p.m.  This is 1/2 hr later than our former time.

Reiki Level 2 Training: Part 1 (for the Student Ready to take the Next Step!) @ Desert Reiki Connection

Now that we are experiencing the challenges and beauty of our  Tucson summer season, this is a wonderful opportunity in 2019 to receive Reiki 2 training.This 1 1/2 day training is for the Reiki student who has been building a strong foundation with Reiki Level 1. In Level 2, you will be attuned to the three Usui symbols and learn how to use them for distant healing, multiple sessions, sending Reiki to a personal goal or affirmation, and enhancing your daily Clearing Prayer. With level 2 and the use of the Power symbol, you may experience that the energy seems more focused and  to flow 10-15x stronger. You will be receiving 1 attunement during this Wednesday July 10th evening class and 3 attunements during the all day Saturday July 13th class. During Grady receiving Reikikthis Wednesday session, one will also have the opportunity to address any questions related to one’s earlier Level 1 training.  One is expected to take both parts of this Reiki Level 2 training; the fee is for both parts.
