Beyond Cancer: FINDING JOY
Join us for a special day focused on finding joy and reclaiming your life after cancer treatment is over. Survivors, friends, family, caregivers and the Tucson community are all invited to discover a wide variety of resources, therapies and activities that promote healthy living and long-term wellbeing.

In 2012 I ran up the Rocky steps in Philadelphia; it became one of my symbolic signs and remembrances of overcoming obstacles, never giving up and achieving great success and joy! I have been privileged to work with many wonderful students who have overcome many personal challenges with their Reiki practice and have the realization that by becoming Reiki Master teachers they can help others to heal, transform and grow bringing more peace and balance to our communities and even the world. If this feels like your potential next step on this journey, contact me to determine your readiness to take this 2 1/2 month training. There will be 20 hrs of instruction as well as the expectation that one will be working with each other and on assignments outside of these sessions. Call me by phone or email me to discuss participating in this training which will begin early in 2020; a tentative date to begin is 2/27/20.
During the past two years, many individuals have been inquiring how they can best support others…whether members of their families, those suffering from Covid, or first responders and healthcare providers. Reiki Level 2 training will give one the ability to do Distant healing sessions on others. This is a profound time in all of our lives that warrants profound actions including sending Reiki energy and prayers for peace in Ukraine. Part 1 of this Reiki 2 training will take place on Thursday June 23 from 6pm-8pm and conclude on Sunday June 26th from 9:15am-5:30pm; one is expected to take both parts of the training (unless you have already started Reiki 2 training and did not complete it due to personal circumstances). One needs to have first taken Reiki Level 1 to qualify for this training. Since this training will be in person, each participant must be fully vaccinated (including having received at least 1 booster) and be willing to wear a mask when inside or while working on each other. Some of the training will be outdoors; it is lovely to do Reiki while surrounded by nature in my backyard.
Each student will receive 4 attunements, the first during Part 1 on June 23rd.
