A free workshop for Men supporting Women with any type of Cancer; the female survivors are invited as well. This workshop is led by Marc Heyison, President/founder, Men Against Breast Cancer; the separate women sessions will be led by Mikala Edwards, Az Young Breast Cancer survivor support initiative, and Marsha Drozdoff, ACSW, LCSW. The couples will also meet together as a group. A light meal will be served.
This Reiki 1 and Mindfulness training will have a special focus on couples; individuals can attend without their s/o. This exquisite 1 day training will include receiving one’s attunement, a manual, and learning sensitivity exercises, hand positions for the head and stomach flow, how to do a Reiki session on each other if desired, byosen scanning, ethics and more. Having Reiki in one’s relationship can support enhancing intimacy and communication.
