Have you ever wanted to do healing work on yourself and others?
Reiki Level 1 is the foundation to be able to do Reiki on yourself and others. This exquisite 1 day training will be one of the best gifts that you can give to yourself or others to start out the New Year for stress reduction, wellness and healing. This class includes receiving your attunement, a class manual, a brief history of Reiki, and learning how to do chakra balancing, head flow and stomach flow positions, a mini Reiki session on others, byosen scanning, ethical considerations, and more! Since your RMT facilitates a weekly Mindfulness and Meditation group at the Medical Center, there will be a special focus on Mindfulness. Once you receive this training, you will be able to attend the Reiki Share at Banner- UMC Tucson if desired.
During the past two years, many individuals have been inquiring how they can best support others…whether members of their families, those suffering from Covid, or first responders and healthcare providers. Reiki Level 2 training will give one the ability to do Distant healing sessions on others. This is a profound time in all of our lives that warrants profound actions including sending Reiki energy and prayers for peace in Ukraine. Part 1 of this Reiki 2 training will take place on Thursday June 23 from 6pm-8pm and conclude on Sunday June 26th from 9:15am-5:30pm; one is expected to take both parts of the training (unless you have already started Reiki 2 training and did not complete it due to personal circumstances). One needs to have first taken Reiki Level 1 to qualify for this training. Since this training will be in person, each participant must be fully vaccinated (including having received at least 1 booster) and be willing to wear a mask when inside or while working on each other. Some of the training will be outdoors; it is lovely to do Reiki while surrounded by nature in my backyard.
Each student will receive 4 attunements, the first during Part 1 on June 23rd.
